Howdy! *waves* I blog because I enjoy writing about interesting everyday stuff that the “average” college-educated, socially/politically conscious, young person talks/thinks about. I want to engage in thought-provoking and insightful conversation with the mindset that “hey, as long as I'm on this earth I might as well contribute a narrative that honors the truth of my history, culture, professional and personal experiences, etc.” Essentially, I’m a “normal” Black woman who cares about the circumstances of my people, our community, country and world. I am unapologetically Christian (but try NOT to be all “judgey” with it). I tend to overuse #hashtags, (parenthetical asides), CAPITALIZED LETTERS, italics and emoticons ;-P But, all things considered, it probably adds to my sweet, sarcastic, and witty charm.
