Regarding Prayer

To put it simply, I firmly believe couples should pray together.

Why (part 1)? ->
Ecclesiastes 4 New International Version (NIV)

9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Why (part 2)?  -> Matthew 18 New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)

18 “I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be[
d] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[e] loosed in heaven.
19 “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”

I want God to dwell in my partner and I both individually and collectively. Emotional and physical intimacy have their place. SPIRITUAL INTIMACY IS KEY AS WELL.

Let me remix a common saying: "The couple that prays together, stays together." *smiles*
